Having sold his land, V. Fanelli is selling an accumulation of items that have been stored for years in the barns and sheds on the property. All proceeds go to benefit the South Oldham Lions Club.

Wooden music box, also referred to as a Christmas Kalliope that plays the old 7” metal discs (c. 1890s). The brass mechanism on top can hold a small Christmas tree or bouquet of flowers and rotates as the music plays. (Mr. Fanelli recalls having a small Christmas tree in the holder). The box is marked Germany on the bottom. A small hand crank inserts into side of box to wind up mechanism. Decorative brass fittings on sides, ends and top of box. The box measures 17.5” l x 11.5”w x 5.75” high + 6” brass top. Seven 7” discs come with it: 1) Marching Through Georgia #149; 2) Berlin on Luft March, #1054;, 3) The Washington Post March #181, 4) The Honeymoon March #153, 5) Hiawatha (Einsommer-Idyll) #1068, 6) Priere Prayer Gebert Plegaria, #38), 7) Silent Night. |
