Auction Terms, Conditions and General Information

Payment:  All purchases must be paid for on day of sale by either cash, Mastercard, Visa, or good personal check with valid ID. Out of state checks over $1,000 require bank letter of guarantee or equivalent suitable to auctioneer.

No buyer’s premium: No buyer’s premium will be used on personal property.

Inspection:  Property may be inspected beginning 9:00 am on day of auction.

As is-where is:  All property is sold “as is-where is” with no guarantees or warranties regarding condition or purpose. 

Removal of Purchases:  All property should be removed by 3:00 PM on day of auction or Sunday, September 23rd from 1-3 PM.  Any other times shall be by appointment. 

Sales Tax:  All purchases are subject to Kentucky 6% sales tax unless proper documentation is presented to Auctioneer on auction day showing exemption from such tax. 

Auction Location:  Note:  The auction site property sits between Highways 146 and 22 on the west side of Crestwood, KY.  The address is 6826 Hwy. 146, but you will enter the site from Hwy. 22.  Look for signs.  The following directions will take you to the Hwy. 22 entrance.  From I-265 (Gene Snyder Freeway), take Exit 30 ( Hwy. 146 to Pewee Valley) proceed 3.4 miles to stoplight in Crestwood, turn left onto Hwy. 22, cross RR tracks, proceed to 4 way stop, turn left, go 1/4 mile to auction entrance.  OR from I-265, you can also take Hwy. 22 east (Exit 34), go 5.4 miles to Crestwood.  From I-71, take Exit 14 (Hwy. 329 to Crestwood), go south approx. 4/10 mile, past the Chevron station turn right onto East Hwy. 329, go 1.6 miles to the 4 way stop, (at Dairy Queen) turn right on Hwy. 22 and go 1/4 mile to auction entrance.
