Dorthey Spargur owned an antique shop in Wisconsin before moving to Louisville,

she was also an artist and an avid collector.

Large ornate Federal burled/crotch mahogany claw foot buffet with back splash, shell carving and Ben Franklin pulls.  According to the Spargur family this buffet dates to the early 1800’s and was once owned Revolutionary War hero General Henry Knox.  This piece and several others were purchased by Dorthey Spargur’s great aunt many years ago.  Not shown is a large mahogany pedestal dining table with several leaves and six Windsor style chairs.

Willett Marblehead cherry 6 piece bedroom suite consisting of a half tester full size bed, dresser with mirror and glove boxes, chest on chest, pair of two drawer night stands with turned legs and a shaving mirror.
